If you were a 'serious' actor. You would never humiliate yourself like this- that would actually do damage.
That's what agents are for. So I can only guess that he wasn't a REAL 'actor'. Just a fruitloop fantatic in a black Ford coupe tricked up to look like the RW's...I guess he believed that if he looked the part George might ask him to come in have some tea and discuss the future of series.

And this is my point. You can't tell a creative person what they should like. Particularly on a character or concept that they have created themselves.
