That is just kick-ass. Lots of work. It was certainly worth it.

Cool doesn't even begin to come close describing that conversion job Adrian.

Superb job.

Is it me or have you changed the side pipes too? (the zoomies I mean)

Bozz I doubt Adrian would mind getting stuck out at Broken Hill, he seems to have a blast everytime he goes there. But yes, having a stone puncture the rad would be a major pain in the arse!

So Adrian how hard was it to permanantly cut out that back window cill and take out the glass? Hesitations? last minute doubts? "Should I really do this" type nerves?

Well it looks great from this view, those genuine Broken Hill boulders in the rockery really set the whole thing off LOL! Now you're gonna tell me they really ARE from there hehehehehee!

Great job again. Any plans on bringing it back to the UK so I can meet you and have another ride in it? Please? .... Pretty please? Huh, huh?

Hy Adrian

What is about your exhaust system? There is only one pipe black inside. Are the others not connected?

Thanks a lot guys for the comments, I actually surprised myself considering It really started out as a test ! I purchased some sheet steel and rolled it around the small tanks fully expecting it to crease or bend, but carefully using ratchet straps I managed to get a perfect cylinder shape, once welded along the seam it kept it's form. I couldn't and didn't really want to cut the structure of the body due to the fact there is an lpg tank behind the rear seat plus one in the wheel well,so decided to painstakingly make a template of the parcel shelf, window sill and boot jam and then use this as a guide to trim the tanks in order to fit over these areas, surprisingly the tanks fit perfectly,to give the effect off being welded into place I used sikaflex where the tank met the body applying it carefully to give the effect of weld, this will come in handy if anytime I need access to the lpg tanks I can just cut away the sikaflex and remove the tanks.

The zoomies are also new,not sure why the rear pipe is showing black as they are all connected and I looked tonight and they all look clean although the rear pipe does exhaust most of the gases, maybe this has shown a bit more in the photo. Hope this answers all your questions.

It's funny that the radiator looks more exposed without the lower section but in fact there is very little that shields it even with the bottom on,it just looks more covered.

Thanks Pete for the warning,I fully expect a total loss of cabin pressure and a whole lot of internal turbulance!LoL

Gary, never took a pic from the front but I'll grab one tomorrow.

something else of possible interest! The spare tyre was given to me by Troy Fursenko.....nephew of Bob Fursenko who owned the original car after filming!!
