XB Sedan Pt. 2
XB Sedan Pt. 2
Hey Wrinkles! Long time no see mate!
I need a coupe! You wouldn't let me cut up the Gossie, so now I still need a coupe for an Interceptor. Can you find me a Cobra or a GT to spray paint black? LOL!
Or maybe just a Falcon 500 or a GS beater that needs a good home...

XB Sedan Pt. 2
Mitch: I might be onto a GS coupe. will know more within the next week. ...and aren't you glad you haven't messed with the Goss??? See, old Wrinkles knows a classic when he sees one!
Brad: it's funny, I've never considered selling the old red car before... but a couple of offers have been floating around.... who knows? It certainly gets you thinking.
XB Sedan Pt. 2
Dont do it Wrinkles, once gone, you may never get another, the $ are going up to fast.
When you bought it, it was probably not that many $, time has increased its value, and sadly other XB's and the like have ended up in the wreckers, therefore its getting rare to have one of these days today.
Its not offen that you see neat XA' or XB's on the streets of Adelaide, and im not talking GT's or coupes, they are just not around.

XB Sedan Pt. 2
A Commodore?! - nah, been down that road before, and not in any big rush to re-visit. The lure of all things Blue-oval is too great.
I'm just not realy sure what I'll do. (...but me being me, most likely nothing!) ...when you've got people sniffing around & showing interest in something you own, your mind starts to think of the possibilities.
The GT does a great job of collecting dust, and perhaps I could be just as happy having something else take it's place in the shed for that purpose. It's not as if it's a really fast car, or that I drive it hard - I've got the ute as a thrasher. As I get older and as the cops get harsher with penalties, I'm more than happy to obey the speed limits, and use the GT as a "cruise & enjoy" kind of vehicle. That's something that could be done in a lot of different vehicles, and I'd quite possibly get the same levels of enjoyment. It doesn't have to be wearing a JG33 compliance plate to be a fun cruiser. ...and it'd also be nice to have another black car in the collection.
Decisions, decisions.
XB Sedan Pt. 2
What's up with the truck?

Anyway, had another stroke of genius today.
Perhaps I will have the world's first MFP Canine unit. (insert cricket sound here...)
I have three Blue Heelers, so since they'll be riding in the sedan sometimes I can put Canine markings on the car.
What'cha all think?
Anybody have pics of what Australian K-9 car markings look like?

Most of the dog squad cars here in QLD are utes..... with a fibreglass canopy.. and at least a 5 to 8 yr old version of a commodore or falcon !
No special marking are applied.... just the usual blue and silver checkered stickers etc.....
Even our version of the SWAT team arrive in either unmarked Toyota Landcruiser 4*4 Wagons or Troopcarrier version........
We're all very bland down here... lol
We are 100% snafu....

Ususally they let the dogs mark their own territory...least, thats what those dog wagons smell like!

The dogs really like me...barking like crazy when I walk past them in the van or sniffing and pawing at my pockets when they're on the lead

freakin furry chainsaws with collars is what they are!...the ultimate unlicenced, silent, target seeking leathal weapons!
"Nice doggy..Nice Doggy!?"
