Very happy to have given you another "Happy Place" to go to Overheadcam, however I'll let you ask Wez about the ability to use tools after he's finished pounding Max's head in with a dustbin lid. Though I doubt he'd be very much into an after fight commentary... more likely he'd start pounding someone elses head in just to warm down.

Jennifer Connelly? That razor sharp jawlined bint from Hulk? Oh c'mon you can't be serious!! I first saw her in Rocketeer and thought she wasn't too bad, but instantly forgettable to join the masses of other leading ladies that didn't make an impact. Now Jennifer Love Hewitt on the other hand.... Image

OK how about: Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman vs Helen Slater as Supergirl

My money's on Lynda as Helen Slater didn't make that good a Supergirl and I can't think of anyone else that could make a good enough opponent for WW, I'm open to alternate suggestions though.

Those radials are a unique sound indeed........ I can remember a few years ago a DC-4 flew right over my house at 500ft or so.... (one engine out too)..... what a noise.... ahhh those woulda been the days.....

The Dc-4 was here in town running fruit and frieght so fiji? or some island nearby.

The engine had failed sortly after take off ... cant remember why.... those poor engineers changed that radial out in the sun on a few wanked out platforms.... just like in the old days! lol

I hope you not saying the ROCKETEER could take on Max??? The movie wasnt so bad either.... cartoonish type film that had a few good points about it. Family type entertainment which no longer appeals to the hoardes! lol
We are 100% snafu....

"How about Xena?"

Not Xena, but how about a character for Lucy Lawless in Fury Road? A new love interest for Max? He hasn't had any for 2 films. I prefer her Kiwi voice either way.

Maul was a lame fighter. He spent most of the movie looking hard and then the first big fight he gets in he gets cut in two and falls into the cooling manifold of a fusion reactor.

I hate to dig up the past here...but I've been wondering 'bout this for a few days now!

Maul (who couldn't really help looking mean) had an added 'creepy quality' of a well spoken (almost 'Home Counties') english accent...every word perfectly annunciated...just like a certain character a Mr Hugh Keyes Burns' once played!...similarly, Bubba chose to use few words..but delivered these in a very calculating, precise manner!

A good hero...needs a better Villian.....and while Lord Humungus was more poetic than well spoken and calculating....the Torture that Wez was doing to the English language was as bad as what was happening to the guys NAILED!!!! to those cars...and made Humungus look good!

My point is...maybe this is an insight into Miller's writting style...and something to expect in MM4/Fury Road!?
