Events between Mad Max & Road Warrior

My thoughts on the jacket etc are that he DID go to a hospital to get fixed up but didn't get arrested for stealing bob. A serious knee injury like that couldn't be neglected and would require some medical attention, the arm probably less serious IMO. As for the missing sleeve... who knows the events between MM and MM2 years at least ANYTHING could have happened in that time. ripped and tugged off and lost it in a fight? Cut off and used the leather for a coller for dog? used as a patch on the blowing exhaust?

Who really knows. Maybe an illegal chinese immigrant worker in the costume dept one day just slipped with the scissors while distressing the jacket and Norma Moriceua happened by, saw it and thought "Hey that looks neat we'll use that."

As far as I'm concerned ANY events between the films (within reason) are open to your own interpretation and how far your imagination can run with it. See the Vernon Wells post regarding Golden youth for example. Throws a whole new light on Gayboy Wez side of things. Queers about the world are probably sobbing in thier pink sheets clutching pictures of Wez crying "WHY?!" after this piece of news came to light.

HUMVEE driver. I'm mid way through the third story (between MM2 & Blunderdome) and think they're great! Well - bloody - done!! I have also decided to abandon any further attempts at writing my own story since I can't hold a candle to yours LOL! Actually I might just continue now that I've started it since I love exploring this fictional (please note the word fictional and therefore not actually real) world between the MM films.

Feral Kid I looked in my Mad Max Mess of Trivia and all I did find referring to the sleeve was just some fan fiction. It is a story called Hotel California by Lady Razorsharp. It mentions his sleeve being bloodied and torn. So I imagine for "hygiene" purposes it was just cut off.

Thanks mate. I had to do the same thing with one of my dog's toys. It was plush squeaky doll that he kept chewing up and pull the stuffing out. I'd stitch it up again and again. Finally he chewed the arm so bad, I decided to just amputate it and sew up the stump.

Me and Max .. we'd be mates.

Yeah, I think he would had to cut the sleave off to deal with his wounded arm. But then he needed the jacket for protection. Maybe he used the sleave to make the holster for his shotgun; that's what I used it for.

He already HAD a holster for the shotgun.

Something to point out on the "protection" aspect.

Assuming MM2RW is shortly after the Nuclear War, it would be a good idea to keep as much skin as possible covered in order to avoid Alpha burns. (As well as normal mundane Sunburn)

Alpha particles cause burns similar to a sunburn, but are easily sheilded against..

Master Blaster According to the Mad Max Chronology site, Mad Max was the year 2000. Road Warrior was 2003, and Thunderdome was 2018.

Master Blaster "Master Blaster runs Barter Town." Well unfortunatley the site is gone, or at least it is down at the moment. Glad I printed it, it was a 14 page chronology of events. It gave Birthdays of Fifi, Max, etc. and the years of the events including pictures.
