Hood scoops

Possibly. I just don't like the look of long snouts on blowers. Really, all I need to power is the blower, alt and H2O pump. I dont have all of those powered accessories...you know like power steering, air...so I said to meself...Self, can I run a 3" for all of it using some of the adapter plates like Ankle is talking about? I've seen them in Street Rodder and some of the other car mags as well. Any ideas?

MFP1, Congrats on the good deals on the Javs.

we paid $1750 for mine wayyyyyyyyyyy back in '87.

I wish I could find one now for $400.

The AMX Cowl hoods are nice, but it seems every warmed up jav out there is cloned to look like an AMX.

I wanna be just a bit different. Image

(Doodled one on a notepad that looks like a cross between the Horet SC/360 scoop and the Mustng Mach-1/XBGT NACA scoop. With designed in provision for a Torino shaker. I'll have to refine that ne a bit more..)

Been photoediting different combos to see how they'd look.

Even did one with XB GT quarter flutes just to see what it'd look like. (nahhh..)

These are very ametuerish, so don't ask to see them. Image

I'd kinda like to try my hand at the 3D rendering like Cueball's doing.

But with all the other expenses, I don't wanna hafta buy an expensive program to do it with.
