Several good friends of mine are hardcore punk. Ever hear of Soapbox Conformists? (a little, now defunct, punk band in Denver) They're friends of mine.

D.M., you forgot your beloved Butt Trumpet and Tesco Vee. Laibach sounds even more Teutonic than Rammstein. Much more creative, too.

Lee Ving from Fear would've made a good Max nemesis. He could kick both Wez and Ironbar's asses. See him in Streets Of Fire and Flashdance. And that one episode of Fame when he was gonna beat up Bruno for non-payment of a loan. Most famous role: Mr. Body in "Clue".

Should I Stay Or Should I Go. The Clash, the Exploited, the Sex Pistols are the best punkbands. From Clash I have London Calling and Combat Rock, from the Sex Pistols Nevermind the Bollocks but I have no album from The Exploited (I've heard some songs in "STAHLWERK" on radio Fritz). Yesterday I bought RESTLESS AND WILD by Accept a "restless album" :-D

Hi, Midnight Mover, this is 4 you!

RESTLESS AND WILD

They're running wild

They're on a down hill ride

Like a rebel they look for more

Too young to die

Now you know your dreams are useless

And there 're lies You'll never tell

'cause you're so

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Star born lovers

Angels in the night on a highway

They don't look back

Everybody's lost the way - yeah

The little girl wants to be an actress

Young boys are easy riders

They live so

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Stay down - time will roll on

How do you feel when the night is gone

Stay down - time will come 'round

You are the man made for highway life

For the highway life

City lights moving on

No tomorrows - no destinations

Like a wheel turning on and on

You're a man born to run

Every world that you have seen was senseless

Keep moving on there's no other way

'Cause you're so

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

Restless - restless and wild

I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Do a search on Laibach. The official site and a couple of others have sound samples. Rammstein uses so much of Laibachs style. The 'fascist' look, some of their sound, the 'voice' definitely, and even the logo. At first I thought it was a side project, but I'm still not sure they aren't connected somehow.

Mitch-

Thanks for reminding me of 'Butt Trumpet' and Tesco.Image
