its a ripper. Toecutter is actually a really nice bloke 'in the flesh' , he has some really funny stories about stuff that has occurred during years in the film industry. Only got a short time talking to him at the Stone run, but spent a few hours with Captain Midnight, Septic and Zonk up at the Bathurst bike races in Easter 2000 - plenty beers and chillums, it was great. My mate was rocking around the Mountain about 11pm, no muffler on the Zed, you could hear the bloody thing from anywhere !!! the Stone crew pulled him over when he went past to check out the Zed, and he was back in a flash with the good news , so off I went to grog on with the other legends...............it was a hoot....will catch up with all them later this year, its the 30th Stone Anniversary this year....

Those are DEFINITELY not propellers. Have any of you ever seen a prop like that? No, because that is a very common depiction of either a clover or a flower like a snapdragon or something. Being in a black circle like that, it would appear to be a Japanese family crest. I'm not saying they're all in a Japanese family, but apparently the propmasters found the symbol in a book or something and decided to use it. I didn't want to say anything earlier, because I'd never gotten a clear view of them, but now that the proof is in the picture, so's so.

PUNISH, you'll notice i said "propellor thing", meaning , f**ked if i know what it is, but till we do, i'm gonna call it the "propellor badge", my picture ain't that good, i can't get close or clear enough to show that the dark parts in the propellors are actually objects too, not just shading.
could be four leaf clovers...

if you want to see a proper 'propellor' badge, look no further than any BMW. They have used this badge for umpteen years, it can be traced back to their roots as aircraft-motor manufacturers. Its also quite a bit different to the 'prop' badge worn by the bronze.
Toecutter might look like the Biker of Death from Hell, but he is very approachable. A top bloke.

You keep referring to it as a propeller. I wouldn't have even begun to think of it as a propeller. The black in the middle is either shading to accent the natural contours of a clover or the dark colorations of a specific type of flower. I can't remember the name of it right now, but I'll go find out promptly.

Maybe the Japanese Imperial Chrysanthemum? Five petals, right? See 'em on Type 97 tanks and Zeros. We really need to track down the art directors and costume designers and get the straight skinny. Where is Norma Moriceau these days?

Someone told me that she still lives in Au. pretty near Sydey or something like that. I haven't looked through my japanese crest book to find it yet, but I will shortly.
And the pics say that there's only four petals.
