FURIOSA TRAILER!
Re: FURIOSA TRAILER!
Why the hell this was not released first?
Re: FURIOSA TRAILER!
This + a couple of quick shots of our characters + a quote from the film + a bit of vehicle action + Dementus saying "Do you have it in you to make it epic" + "Trailer coming soon" over the final shot of the Furiosa gold statueImmortan Joecutter wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 4:54 am A very cool Teaser Trailer from the CCXP in Sao Paulo:

That would have been infinitely better than what we got. Knowing the story of the film that is not a good trailer. It doesn't get across any of the scale and length. It looks like the budget is a lot lower that Fury Road and most filming had to be done through green screen. Parts of this trailer look fan made, other parts look AI. I'll be there day 1 but it looks like Warner Bros weren't confident giving another large budget to George.

Exactly. I hope Miller stays on the Fury Road and doesn't take a turn on the Fast and Furious Freeway. Come on...showing CGI'd vehicles and vehicular action, even in a trailer, is sakriligious for Mad Max fans. This + a couple of quick shots of our characters + a quote from the film + a bit of vehicle action + Dementus saying "Do you have it in you to make it epic" + "Trailer coming soon" over the final shot of the Furiosa gold statue

As for the budget Furiosa was anounced to be the biggest ever film to be made in Australia and I was expecting something truly epic and no CGI scenes on a 'Expendables 4' level

I have no idea. It's really hard to tell.
Perhaps a complete new batshit crazy vehicle we don't know yet or a tower defense devise from the Citadel..?

Now I think they belong to the cargo cranes from the Citadel as shown in the comics

It's only the backgrounds and colour grading that have been manipulated. Except for the jump shot everything else vehicle related is obviously real stunt vehicles filmed on location. All of these vehicles have been caught on location by spycameras and leaks. The war rig and the Monster truck were filmed by a Sydney News helicopter . People saying its allgreenscreen in a studio when we've seen the exact shots in spy cam footage from Kurnell, in fact the exact shot of Hemsworth with the microphone at Kurnell outdoors that people insisting must be filmed in a volume because the colours look funny was documented on YT by MadMax bible channel, and was filmed outdoors close to the boat harbour beach. Gotta laugh when folks that say real on location stunt vehicle action is "laughably fake". It seems the default whinge of people who don't understand Luts and grading is that if the colours don't look ordinary it must be cgi.Immortan Joecutter wrote: ↑Fri Dec 01, 2023 9:44 am My initial reaction:
I was shocked because of all the blatant CGI they used in the trailer. Almost every desert related shot looked flat and laughable fake.
This was a deep hit guys and it took me almost a full day to recover...
