It looks like a good action movie.

I really don't think Max looks like he belongs in the film. I don't know if that's just a faitful portrayal from Hardy when everyone else is going to 11; he looks depressed lol.

I literally just screamed out a loud NO! Just like I did about 30 years ago when I saw the pursuit special get trashed. You can't do that to me George. You killed the star, and judging from the composition of the trailer, you are going to do it within the early stages of the first act. I was behind this project completely until I saw that. With Mel gone and now the Pursuit special, it's like you are cutting all ties with the original that we all grew to love. Will watch because it looks like it still has the goods, but with much little hart involved.

I guess you haven't been following this board closely. We've known for some time now that the BoB rolls early in the film. And what makes you think the car is the star of THIS movie? Obviously it isn't.

Oh, please tell me it does. I would love to see Max drive off into the sunset with it by the end of the film.

I'm just having a nostalgic moment about the car. I know who the star(s) are. Just feel a bit bummed is all, seeing the Pursuit Special get totaled again. Definitely the film looks the goods. It seems like it will deliver. I just hope this generation gives the original trilogy the respect it deserves and not forget that it was Mad Max 2 that started a lot of these post apocalyptic film style we see in films and video games today (I know 'A boy and his dog' greatly influenced part 2 as well) and that people see this as a continuation, and not a replacement.

Just give a coat of paint and replace the rear suspension and take off one of the extra blowers and she'l be right. Max has time to do it. Still, as long as he leaves with it in the end. I'll be happier. Either way, looks like a film that will be worth the watch. Bring it home George.
