I've heard from a reliable source that max's sawnoff will return and is now a "Quad barrel shotgun". Two sets of barrels joined together and made with various other parts, totally scratch built and not a standard run of the mill firearm. A very different and interesting concept, can't wait to see it in action. Also "possible spoiler ahead" max's black interceptor is totaled in the first few minutes (similar to the landau in max 2) only to be rebuilt by the bad guys into the silver monster interceptor.

That make no sense to me. In the middle of a chase they rebuild it and strip off all the paint and rust, modify the suspension, change tires and wheels, add a 2nd blower, and a gun of some sort in the back? They would have to have some time to go from totaled car to the silver one even in the best of times with the best tools and gear.
I remember watching a movie in the 80's with my dad and a guy had a quad barrel shotgun with the barrels stacked on top of each pther not side by side as in Phantasm 2.

My 2 cents- Silver car is a seperate car, the black one with one tank is pre Road Warrior,
"Last of the V8,s" doesnt mean they didnt make 100,000 of that model,
Just like in the 70's when the gas wars happened and companies started
Producing vehicles with 6 and 4 cyl motors, btw Dr. Miller was inspired
By the gas wars of the 70's per AMC's story notes. I just cant digest that the single

Whoever said it goes back to the Road Warrior design? This isn't a prequel or part of the original trilogy in any way.
