If Max Max 2 was released today, the same cunts who disses fury road would slam it over the interweb, as just another crappy, with not enough gore special effects film. Except for the rape. The rape scene was cool.
In facts, their fathers were slamming it back in the days. These idiots reproduce. What can you do?

Funny thing - nobody here KNOWS how to have a debate or conversation.
There are many here that have simply shown their inability to have a dialogue with anyone with dissent. So, no, no debate can be had when anyone questioning it are subject to juvenile namecalling.
You either have to agree with the fanboys and be wowed by the MM4 trailer, and not question anything... or you're the anti-Christ and receive personal attacks.he same cunts who disses fury road

A dialogue and a debate are two very different things, dude.leadcounsel wrote:There are many here that have simply shown their inability to have a dialogue with anyone with dissent. So, no, no debate can be had when anyone questioning it are subject to juvenile namecalling.

I'm just confused as to how you would know what MPG those vehicles in Road Warrior get? Considering a modern BMW M5 gets about 26-28 MPG at steady driving and that's with the most modern and up to date technology. According to this http://www.automobile-catalog.com/econo ... rdtop.html (which is the only data I could find on a similar car to Max's) a Ford Falcon certainly didn't get that. Add a supercharger and constant pursuit and Max isn't looking the most frugal. Either way, we're quibbling about a car doing 3-4 MPG and 8-10 MPG.
Of course its a non-sense. It's like watching Commando and getting annoyed because Arnold never reloads or never gets killed when he brazenly runs in front of enemy fire. You either buy into the world of the film you're watching or you don't.
If you want post-apocalyptic realism then watch this film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyDQF9_zvJQ or read the novel if you are so inclined and can stomach such harrowing prose. No car chases and one diesel truck that's dying.

In all fairness what's the alternative? The Mad Max concept is built on premise of winner takes all, it's about being the fastest/strongest on four wheels. There's no real avenue for an economical alternative.
I mean, maybe there's a gang of Prius in Fury Road, all driving at a steady 50mph with their air-con turned off. Maybe they win. How exciting.

Ok having had both a mostly stock 351... it would on the highway burn about 18l per 100km. In town it was up around 23l per 100km!
Currently have a 302 which burns about 12l per 100km on highway and 16l per 100km in city.
Add a blower... hence why youd need the extra fuel tanks. And why the idea of the mythical on/off blower. Turn it on when you want to escape the bad guys. Turn it off to conserve fuel. But in anycase... its impossible to do it in a roots blower. And it is the movies.

Only those sensible enough to buy hybrids, slow enough to drive eoncomicaly would survive. The yuppies took over the highways ready drive unnecessarily slowly. And in this maelstrom of dullness, ordinary men were made boring and annoying, men like Max.MWFV8 wrote:In all fairness what's the alternative?
