Can it be confirmed now that the pictures of the new Bob taken at a charity event a couple of years back are the real deal?

I wonder if the switch from dual fuel tanks to one fuel tank will ever be explained?

Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
I think its just a subtle way of saying to the old fans that this is not the car from the original trilogy
Kind of boring cos I dont really want to buy another model version thats slightly different lol ( but probably will

It is quite a bit different from the original to include how it appeared in MM2.

Guess so, and hindsight being 20/20 it's interesting to see inconsistent rear tyre that replaced original one from the movie which was filled with rags. Probably to make the car more road worthy and/or legal to drive outside filming locations.scag66 wrote:Can it be confirmed now that the pictures of the new Bob taken at a charity event a couple of years back are the real deal?
Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
No, because it doesn't have to be explained. It's a reboot therefore not a continuation of the original trilogy.flightsuit wrote:I wonder if the switch from dual fuel tanks to one fuel tank will ever be explained?
At last the Vermin had inherited the Earth
Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
I just noticed the silver car in addition to the bigger rear tires, dual blowers and gun/flame thrower thing it also has a front lower valance/spoiler that Max's car doesn't.
Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
That's Max's car, rebuilt.

Re: Possible pictures of actual Fury Road vehicles
I've read that on here and doubted it before. Rebuild the car and add a spoiler? If it ends up being true it'll be the only truly dumb part of the movie. It would take a year to rebuild that car after the rol lover it went through. And to make it look so similar? All other cars look cobbled together but they practically restore his with a few mods.Taipan wrote:That's Max's car, rebuilt.
