It's been over a year since Fury Road was released is there anywhere still playing it or doing a special showing?

It's a 'Mad Max Weekend'

By DANIEL M. GOLD
MAY 19, 2016

As the summer action-blockbuster season begins, the Museum of the Moving Image serves up a reminder of how to navigate the apocalypse with its “Mad Max Weekend,” screening all four helpings of George Miller’s dystopian future in the Australian outback.

The original “Mad Max” (1979) introduced Max Rockatansky (a then-unknown Mel Gibson), a highway patrolman bent on revenge after marauding bikers attack his family, and refined the car chase as a cinematic genre on an indie budget. “The Road Warrior” (1981) surpassed the original with its character development and vehicular stunts. “Beyond Thunderdome” (1985) was a cage-fight spectacle, with Tina Turner as Aunty Entity, the matriarch of Bartertown. And, of course, “Fury Road” (2015), nominated for 10 Oscars, winning six, rebooted the series, with a new Max — Tom Hardy — playing backup to the force of nature that is Charlize Theron’s Imperator Furiosa. Was on vacation in Canada and the U.S. recently, but no Max was in sight.
Sadly I missed the event biolumen mentioned above for about a week.
Back at home the first thing I needed was a double feature yesterday !

And to imagine I live just a few kilometers away from these maniacs
Damn, man! With the amount of tickets you have by now, you can use them as wallpaper, to decorate the separate room in your home where you have your MM4FR shrine
"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

60 by now. To be honest I never thought to come this far.
With the release of FR I expected to have 6 or 7 weeks to watch it in cinemas.
Over a full year later the movie is still around here in Germany. This is like a dream.

In Germany we have many arthouse cinemas and Fury Road is the perfect symbiose of action and arthouse, and 6 Oscars do the rest...
But it's not the end of the road...till September there are 5 more showings to celebrate Mad Max ;)

It's a lucky thing to be able to still see it in the cinema's.
Wants me to go over the border to see it one more time on the big screen. But the one thing that holds me back is the idea of the german dubbing. I presume all the showings you've seen are german dubbed.
