I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but was FURY ROAD shot in 3d, or will it be post-converted? Post-conversions can be good too, JURASSIC PARK is a good example.

It's going to be post-converted into 3D.

They were going to film it in 3D too weren't they? I recall Miller talking about specific 3D cameras being built just for Fury Road but when they moved to South Africa from Broken Hill the cameras supposedly weren't up to task.

Post conversions are getting better. Guardians of the Galaxy just released and was a post convert that looked amazing. I'm still crossing my fingers for a one week IMAX release!

Also thank lord for an ignore list. Never thought I'd have to use it but good lord is that lead guy an annoying twat.
Well look, that was just my initial take on it but Guardians Of The Galaxy's just made $100 mil over here in three days featuring a bunch of characters no-one's heard of so what the hell do I know...? I hope FR's a huge hit. It's got the potential to do so. It would most certainly prove people are sick of being spoonfed the same formulaic shite when it comes to their summer blockbusters.

And yes, the 'ignore' button is our friend.

This isn't the only community he trolls. I'm 99.9% sure I know who "leadcounsel" is because he uses multiple accounts on other forums but makes no attempt at covering his tracks. And he's been doing it for years. The only way I'll be 100% sure is if an admin traces his IP and tells me the country location. Every time he's exposed as the same guy then comes back later with a different account because this is his life. Posting style is exactly the same. Even some of the phrases he uses are identical. If he comes back and boasts about using "proxy servers" to hide his IP location then it's definitely him. He was recently banned on another forum I'm on and was humiliated on several more. He's also a pathological liar, extremely homophobic, a raging anti-Semite, anti-American and I know his true age. Let's just say he wasn't even alive in the early 80s. Everything he says is shit. Ignoring him is great. Banning would be the best.

100% lies.

Wow some of you just can't handle dissent. Like little dictators trying to silence differing opinions.

IIRC, they opted for 2D cameras as doing so would allow for 8 or so additional cameras (greater coverage) and more versatile camera placements. If they went 3D, I'm not sure what they were going to do for the crash cams.

My understanding is that the dropping of the 3D cameras was sudden and didn't sit too well with some of those who were developing them. I also think it may have been one reason Semler dropped out (I'm really curious to know what happened there).
