I doubt the rumour is true but it would be awsome to have Capt. Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise.

I really hope this is not true, It seems that with every rumor and speculation, the project takes another step away from the crucial elements
that gave the first two movies a kind of "soul" that has allowed them to stand apart from the thousands of films produced since.
Just my opinion.
