For anyone interested in Australia, Ive found a gun dealer that as soon as i mentioned MM he said you want the Boito from Brasil, got one in front of me.
When i asked if he had any shotgun stocks, he said definately has one Boito with a small crack in the part im cutting off anyway, and possibly another one at home and i can have them for $50 each, new Boito stocks run around $250 then you have to cut them up, nasty.
Im goin to see this guy either Friday or Monday so if anyone wants to put together a cheap replica using the original model stock used in the movie,
the guy says that the Boito has not changed one iota, and there is a second one available, let me know and i will pick it up or let you know his details.

That sounds intriguing. I'd love to see a picture at some point if possible.

I remember one time while I was still a child, I've always asked my dad to buy a shotgun. So, he bought me one during my 7th birthday. Then I was so happy.

Man, for the country that practically invented the Post Apocalyptic genre you have some oppressive gun laws. I was going to suggest this toy gun:N1ck284 wrote:I've looked high and low, but the best source I can find for mad max replicas that are Australia-legal are the expensive resin replicas. I've pondered actually building my own, but I thought I'd see if you guys have any ideas?
For those that don't know, all airsoft guns are illegal here. I know, it's bullshit.

Guess not.

Laws pertaining to sawed off shotguns here are pretty strict and its best not to even attempt a modification on a real gun, functional or not.
I have this century old hand me down from my great grandpa which I've considered casting in resin, but I'm worried about messing up the patina.
