Re: prop replica help needed
They're sort of a brown color. If you want to give me an email address I can send you the three HD screen grabs I have. And if you do a search for Dinky Di on this forum you should come across at least two other versions of the label that have been posted over the years.

when i was in californa in july i asked a sheila at a store how her day was going. she looked at me and said 'die - whos dying'
the australian accent can be hard for those who never hear it, and mine is not fnq or bogan.
im dying to hear how yanks pronounce dinki di. most still say emu as if it is emoo.

'Perhaps its a result of an anxiety'

I also found this one on the RPF, not 100% accurate either but is the general idea.

That's the one a friend made for me. The fine print isn't right and the colors may need to be tweaked based on your monitor/printer. This one was made before I had access to the HD screenshots. There's a higher res version of it floating around here somewhere. Or I can email it to whoever needs it. But with any luck we'll have a better one soon, made from the HD shots.

What is the proper pronunciation of Emu?
"The Toecutter....he knows who I am"!!!
Re: prop replica help needed
I lived in Australia for 6 months at one point. I thought the correct pronunciation was "eem-moo." The only incorrect pronunciation I can think of is "eem-yoo."
Re: prop replica help needed
As an aussie i would have said E-mu. I think the mooo puts a different accent (yank) on it.
It's a short, quick word, not drawn out.
oh, and try to say it with out opening your lips very much. In Australia if you open you lips, you'll be eating a fly.
In fact, if you try and talk without opening you lips more than a millimetre, and keep the lips flat, it's fairly easy to do an aussie accent
