It really was a great day.
Most of the pics and videos I took are unfortunately when we are all stationary or pulled up at various stops along the way.
It was great to hang out with Dale and meet up with Troy and his wife Annabelle and to see the Max Van. Shit Hot!!
But I have to say the most fun was fast paced travel between locations.

I loved the Max Van and the interceptor cutting lanes at 130kmh chasing 70 bikes along the Geelong Freeway in heavy traffic. The looks on peoples faces was amazing. One silly guy in a silver mercedes was trying to keep up while holding his camera out the drivers window hoping to get a nice snap.

We did a couple of re-enactments at Kirks bridge as was mentioned in earlier posts.

Once we wrapped things up at Kirks bridge, we all scattered and I ended up chasing Mark from the zowners on the Goose replica bike east along Bulbans road towards Werribee.
(I wont disclose what speed we were doing) I have to say it was similar to the final scene of MM1 with the tocutter. We made our way through werribee, Rejoined the geelong freeway next to the werribee overpass and spent 15 minutes cutting through 5 lanes of sunday arvo traffic.
We Continued onto the Western ring road where 'Goose' pulled in behind and followed me for a further 28kms. It was such a thrill to see people pull left out of the fast lane to make way for us. Im sure our appearance in the rear view mirror for most people was enough to inspire that decision.
I think we slowed down for most of the speed cameras and I hope we didnt get snapped. Time will tell. At the Hume Fwy turn off, we saluted each other and I headed north while Mark changed lanes and continued east.

A further 3 hours, hundreds of stares, truckie horns blared and 80 litres of fuel later, I pulled into the driveway at home, switched off the car and peeled myself out of the seat. My wife said I looked like a happy tomato. I was red with sunburn and had a grin from ear to ear.

What a great day and the Zowners are a great bunch of guys. It was great to meet Troy there and take part in some car action with him.
And as always it was a pleasure to knock about with Dale. The pictures and videos to follow.

This will have to be a permanent entry in the yearly calendar from now on. (If I still have a license)

Myself, Dale and Sam finally worked out how to link videos.
Here are a few taken on my camera on the day.
