Re: LTS Sirens
Well i guess i dont need any air horn as i do have the twin lucas horns from a GT on my Falcon. Im betting that the LTS siren with the combined yail and yelp and no PA is the one to get for my Interceptor.
Re: LTS Sirens
i have the type that doesn't have the pa (have a spare)
the pa they used was probably just via a c b radio
may be donut dale would know for sure

Re: LTS Sirens
What about the slower yelp that March Hare has? Anyone ID that siren?
Re: LTS Sirens
That is the correct 'mix' siren. It has been in service and unchanged for well over 40 years.
You may want to compare it with the film here. 18 seconds in...

I don't mean to teach anybody to suck eggs but....
Remember kids. Buying owning or having a police siren is not illegal. How you use it, can be.
It's an indictable offence to create an impression in anybody that you are an on-duty police officer.
You run the risk of being arrested and would have to apply for bail before a magistrate in order to be released. All that from a harmless flick of a siren switch.
Kick her in the guts Barry !
Re: LTS Sirens
Iv emailed these guys twice about purchasing a siren but no reply either time.
I bought a cheapy on ebay but am looking for one still as it didnt have the mixed yelp and just isnt loud enough.
I might just have to keep sending emails till i get a responce,,, oh well you do get that...
