...sorta slow motion. he leaves the seat, goes through the windscreen, headfirst straight into the tree...right. and then, bounces back through the windscreen. by the time we got to him.. he was just sittin there trying to scream with his face ripped off......whats the matter?
Re: Max Van
time to sleep in the grave as Conan would say. The photos, videos and memories will last for ever, the pain and cost will be long forgotten.
Re: Max Van
No rest for the wicked as they say. Any of us that have built cars can testify that the budget tends to blow out very quickly, but your right in saying that the pain is short lived. I think the pain will go once we are there and driving around.
Got the permit organised today to drive the van around so thats one more thing out of the way. Makes it a bit more authentic without plates being that the film van never had any
The most annoying change to the plans for the weekend is that we will be changing the van back to the 6 cylinder running gear due to a mechanical issue

Max Van, just one word - awesome.
Would have loved to have seen it down at Avalon beach in the flesh, must have been fantastic. For the next event, we'll have to set you up with a white picket fence and gate to drive through...! Again, awesome job, and fantastic to see, particularly as no one else had ever even attempted this one.
