Well I have to say the only thing that I liked and the only reason I went to see Gone in 60 seconds was for the Mustang. At least it was cool. Until it got chewed up by the claw at the junkyard.

I have to agree with the Fog remake post,
Indiana and the Crystal Skull was a steaming pile
the X-Files movie they just released, I didn't even finish watching
Anything by Baz Luhrman
anything with Dennis (the kiss of death) Hopper in it
Anything by Stanley Kubrick (except full metal jacket) i hated "AI"
Anything with Adam Sandler in it
Anything with Ben Stiller in it
LaserBlast
BlueBros 2000
Howard the Duck
(good call on ) Jaws Revenge
Universal Soldier
The Phantom
Godzilla
Cloverfield
WAr of the Worlds (tom Cruise)
Transformers
The Happening/Lady in the water
i can't go on...they suck so much

Sheesh Overheadcam next you're gonna tell me you don't like the films that have that Oscar nominee Giovanni Ribisi
Just "acquired" on DVD:
Journey to the Centre of the Earth (the remake)
Batman: The Dark Knight
Mummy 3
Next
Saints and soldiers
10,000BC
We watched "Next" last night and thought it pretty good. Good twist in the tail ending, bit too heavy on the CGI though. It's getting so that Hollywood is getting too reliant on this sort of thing.
Here's a list of recent DVD's I've watched that turned out to be turkeys for me:
Ghost Rider - Sometimes Cage tries too hard and it showed in this film.
Cloverfield - That bloody camera amateur shake pissed me off too much. Didn't scare me at all, unlike my daughters who were a whooping and a hollering hiding behind cushions.
Ultraviolet - Oh dear. Too much use of CGI and a confusing storyline
Bloodrayne - Oh my god this is bad! Abysmal storyline. Ben Kingsely should have his knees shot for starring in it. Micheal Madsen too, though I wouldn't expect anything less from Madsen. He's like John Wayne, he doesn't act, just plays the role of Madsen wearing a different costume.
Sahara - It's ok I guess but I was hoping for more, the Clive Cussler books are good, if larger than life. The main actors were totally misscast for the roles.
Aliens vs Predater requiem. Too dark, too much like a teen movie, too "Oh sheesh, like that would be your reaction to having an alien chasing you through a sewer!" I hope they don't continue this series any further.
I didn't know they were considering remaking Predator. That was news to me that I first read here. Question is, besides a sure fire money spinner, why?
As you can see I'm a bit out of date as regards new films being stuck out here in the boonies of Normandy. Can't recall the last time I went to the cinema and I used to go almost weekly in the UK.

How about the sequels to Iron Eagle? they suck Only the first one was good!

Death proof was amazing. tarantino briefly returned good old fashioned 'bang'em up' cinematography. its a shame no one has followed his footsteps. cgi can be done well if its descriet and in small doses!

Your right there... the script was awful and yet again the high use of CGI ruined it.SAM B R.W wrote:the new indiana jones film? are you serious?? i an effing joke that movie was. harrison played the part well, but that script should be burnt and buried. does a mojority of people here agree with me on that one?MadMatt wrote:At what point do you all think they should have stopped making the Rocky films? I can understand CGI for the bomb going off.... but the rest was just shocking.
