Tempting... very tempting...

First of all, which days are we talking? If its only a few days, I should be able to bring all my spare clothes (and outfits) with me. Of course, I could just ship my things out there like Karol suggested.

Second, I'd need a ride to and from the airport, and a ride wherever we decide to go. I know that might not seem like a big deal to most, but I like being mobile enough to scavenge on my own.

Third, where would we be staying?

Fourth, any estimate of the total cost for the event and lodgings?

The killer for me may be that I might be needed at home for some family issues. April is going to be brutal for me. Three months before or after April and I probably would have been a definite 'yes'. But, let me know the above info and lets just take it step by step.

I appreciate everyone who is pulling for me! :)

Humvee, If things materialize, you can ride with me to the event.

I have room for a couple in the Jeep.. Badged MFP's only.... no posers.. 'cept maybe that brunette you went to the Comic Convo last year with..

Depending on date/time of arrival ( work sched) I might be able to pick you up and drop you off at McCarren International.

Well, hello there March Hare.
I'm glad you're excited about the Roadwar. It's too bad we weren't able to meet up last month to talk about it. What ever happened? I was on the strip before 4pm and tried everything I could to get in touch with you, but haven't heard from you since. We may have to have another try at it soon.

Doubt ill be attending roadwar vegas now. Hit frisco with my maxed out lincoln last week, the two 13 hour trips took a toll on her. I doubt ill have the time or money to square away all the mechanical problems by then.

Good luck to all you making it though.

Trailer her there if you have to Suede.

"How are we gonna get it there! Drag it?!?"
"If we have to, YES. There is always a way"

Yeah I know the reply: "words, JUST WORDS, you'd die for a pipedream"

Ill just have to pipe up with "Wrong, we fight for a belief, I stay!"

the base weight of a '72 lincoln mark-4 is 4900lbs, even though ive prolly stripped out 500lbs of "factory extras", renting a trailer or dolly and towing it with my 2450lb ranchero isnt the most appealing of ideas to me.

Either ill figure out and fix the probs (electrical, carb fires and a starter than doesnt always engage).. or I wont attend.

Though i could just yank the hood and grille off my '64 ranch... have to think on that.
