The best part about "The Postman" was when Kevin Costner killed Giovani Ribsi by skewering him in the arse.....

it was nearly as good as in "Saving Private Ryan" where Tom Hanks kills Giovani Ribsi by telling him to Assault an MG42 Machingun nest armed only with a bag with a red cross on it!

You should've seen me in "Sky Captain" when the robots got hold of Giovani Ribsi...unfortunately he survived!

I fuggen hate that little dwarven retarded 1 dimensional actor about as much as I hate Adam Sandler....Did someone mention Adam Sandler!??..don't get me started...Image

Billy Madison:- In which Adam Sandler portrays (BADLY) a retard (by talking funny??!) who screams and swears when things don't go his way.

Happy Gilmore in which Adam Sandler plays a notsosmart hockey player whom screams alot and looses his temper!

The Wedding Singer:_Adam Sandler Makes Everyone laugh by getting angry and loosing his cool!

The waterboy :-Whata you know Adam Sandler plays a retard who screams alot and looses his temper.

Little Nicky: Adam Sandler Doing what he does Best...see above....need I go on?..He's so talented!Image

P.S.

The Postman Rocks

P.P.S.

If anyone knows of another movie in which Giovani Ribsi gets killed or at least hurt badly...please let me know!...I bloody buy a copy of the movie!!

Isn't that little w*nk stain in Fast and the Furious? And to make that awful film better he dies in it too. Have to agree with you about that little sh*te I don't like him much either... however I heard that it's a sign of a good actor to be able to portray himself on screen as someone you really dislike....

Take GiroCapt here on the board as an example he's REALLY talented Image

Adam Sandler... yeah, I liked him at first in Happy Gilmore it cracked me up the first time on the strength of that I watched him in another film The Wedding singer, then his "sameness" began to get a little tiring, constantly screaming and losing his rag etc. Now I can't be arsed to watch him in anything nowadays. There's a lot of Actors like that who just play themselves on screen. Can't think of any off hand but I'll think about some examples if this thread goes along like this.

Haven't read the Postman yet I plan to once I get my hands on a copy. Just finishing Battlefield Earth.. yep, the book of that crap film Travolta churned out a few years ago. Crap film but fantastic book! This is the 4th time I've read it, and no, I'm not a scientolgist... whatever that is Image.

Best part of Happy Gilmore is when Bob Barker kicks the snot out of him. Only redeeming scene in the film.

"There's a lot of Actors like that who just play themselves on screen."

Tom Cruse would be on the top of that list! Tom as a fighter pilot, Tom as a NASCAR driver, Tom as an imigrant, Tom as a vampire... (and it just goes on and on)

But to stay on topic, Ya, POSTMAN was a pretty good flick.
