The Gyro vs. Jedediah Controversy Settled

Some of you may remember seeing the debate Peter and I had over the characters. It's in the Flubs section under "other trivia".
If Jedediah really is another character, George Miller really made a point to trick us.

Everyone on here knows my opinion on this, but f**k it, you'll get it again - GYRO is not JEDEDIAH.
If GYRO was JED - "you"
"Me?"
"You got a plane"
"I have?"
"It might just save your life, after all, remember about 6 or 7 years ago when one of your flying machines saved me before? you member? me and you saved that entire tribe of people from that wierd bugger with the goaly mask - by the way, whatever happened to that blonde piece, is that little sh*t who just ran through here, her kid or what? oh yeah, and that little FERAL c**t, i kinda warmed to him, you know cause i had no son and sh*t, hows he doin?"
See i don't care how hard or how many adventures MAX has seen - the whole ROAD WARRIOR experience he would never forget - comeon, he did lose his beloved machine and his best friend DOG.
Plus i seem to remember FERAL himself in the naration at the end of MAD MAX 2. saying "among was found a new leader - the man who came from the sky"
He's narating as an old man, so GYRO's definently gone by now, wouldn't he have said " yeah the man who came from the sky was our leader for a while, but he pissed off with that blonde chick"

Gyro captain and hijacker in MM3 not the same person, just not too many actors in Ozland who can play the part?

i'd have to agree with the naeigh sayers especial readign the top post for the thrid meeting. max was not friendly and i always took their expressions to be one of strangers meeting not of max finding the gyro pilot and thingking he had had that plane up there.
plus the gyro pilot was old worldly had alot of respect for max in the end of road warrior there was no way he would have plundered max not even in post apocylpia.
until someone has a scan of any article from magazine or a news paper sighting an actual source we can point to these topics will never go away.
but there has never been any "friendliness" between max and jebadiah to indicate they knew one another thougth soem of my firends say other wise so the war will wage on.i vote two chatacter.

Read the Starlog 1985 article. It was written during filming of MM3.
