I want to built Interceptor look like

Just FYI...

Figure shipping on a 20 foot container will run your about US$3200 all up including all the trucking and port fees, etc. Oh, then there is US Duty as well.. 2.5% of purchase price..

Only thing would be what you would get charged to actually load and unload it, all though for a 20 footer that is only a matter of a few hours.

The 72-73 Montego GT is gonna be way too big for a Pursuit Special replica.its related to the 72-76 Torino and of course like the Torino was built from 72-76 as well, its a full framed 4000+lb car and unless your a well crafted bodyman i can't see you grafting a nose on one of those things and it not costing you thou$ands, sure we can all 'make'a inspired Mad Max car but beating yourself into a pulp trying to avoid getting the real thing makes no sence at all.Oh and if anyone here would like to further learn more about the Mercury Montego GT heres a site devoted towards them. www.mercurymontegogt.com

B^3, what are the stats(length, width, weight) of the Falcon and Torino/Montego? I'd like to know how much of a difference there is. Those cars look the closest to the Falcon that I know of in the US.

Also, what about that person who had a 4x4 Falcon with a sheet metal version of the nose cone?

Hello mates,

I'm sorry i haven't posting here for a week.

I went to New York City to met my members of Mego museum.com

OzHemi, Thank you for let me know about the price of Falcon XB with shipping charge down to U.S.A.

That Mecury Montego GT body look fine but the front end look kinda big.

I think i better buy a real one, to avoid any cost problems to modified U.S cars as Mad Max Interceptor look like one.

nelg69, i'm very interesting your Falcon XB!

I'm working on my American 1968 Firebird and then selling it, to make more money.

Then i'll be ready to buy your car.

If you can't wait to selling it to me, i understand it.

Thanks! Image

i built a 1/18 scale mad max model car out of a torino 1971 and its look alot like the interceptor, i will scan them in and put them onto cd to give to peter, if i was going to make a real life replica and i was in America, i would use the Torino, its as close as you'll get, all u'de have to do is insert window panels and sand down the lines down the side of the car, good luck !

You were right that Torino looks alot like the interceptor.

I choice the Torino one to built interceptor look like.

I wanted to know how many inches wide the Torino front nose and how many inches wide the interceptor front nose?

Is that easy to crafting the Torino nose narrow and flat surface, to fits the interceptor Monza nose?

If not, can the interceptor Monza nose be crafting wide to fits the Torino?

Can the Torino rear end be shorten?

If so, it will looks better as the interceptor rear end.
