My definitive theory about THE JACKET !!!

We don't know for sure if it's meant to be the same jacket. What's about the MM2 script? The thing disappeared from the net!


All in all... are we sure the M.F.P jackets in MM1 had just one pocket and not two (Karol could be wrong)...

Max's uniform is meant to be the same one in all three movies. Take a look on his pants. In MM2 and BTD, the left leg has a rough seam just over the knee like it was ripped. It's a souvenir from his encounter with Bubba Zanetti. The right leg hasn't this seam.





And Uncle, it's not visible (even on the DVD) if the jacket has two or just one outside pocket in MM1. In any case, it's unpractical for a Police Jacket.

I hope you didn't take my words as argumentative. When I said Mel was the star, I didn't mean that he was a superstar, I just meant the star of the film.


And I honestly don't pay much attention to the differences in jackets, that's something everyone else argues about. I prefer the jacket of RW and BTD anyway, not really the MM1 MFP-style jacket

I always liked the idea seeing the JACKET as the same one for all the 3 movies... so what's the fukking deal!? LOL!


Yeah, I think it's not that clear if Max's jacket in MM1 features one or two pockets.


I'm just appealing to the sense of reality I often use to discard from my mind... that's all!

Just re-watched some bits of MAD MAX.


The jacket looks like it has TWO pockets, and anyway the left one is somehow "covered".


Okay, same jacket. Probably, Max just re-attached his name tag in a different way after damage.

In MM1, the collar has a completely different form, is a little larger, the seam in the back is V-shaped, not straight and all the zippers are covered. Also it has 2 snap on both sides for adjustment. That are the major differences between the jackets.
