May was a no nonsense frontierswoman. Jesse did the classic "Falling chick who runs up the wrong direction while being chased by the villain" How stupid was it to run up the center of the road?

Max, too, does some illogical things. By single-handedly pursuing a complete gang who has taken cover in the woods must be the bonehead move of the total tetralogy. Plus he left his whole family without cover. Very dumb. Papagallo said it best when facing superior numbers "The first step is defend.........."

The rules of engagement are simple. When confronted by superior numbers agitate, defend, or move. When equally matched or less, fight.

i always loved the way Jesse and Max kept such a good eye on Sprog.

where the hell is he when the both of them are under the tree, and max is telling his 'long strides' story? back in the van? where child molesters and murderers can get him.

Or how bout' when Jesse is taking off from the Gang, i know she didn't have much time, but she leaves that little bugger in the back to roll all over the place. Theres also a dog loose in there with the kid at some time too.
