Welcome To The Forums woz75000

And hey guys, I never got into the whole thunderdome is poop thing.

I LIKE THUNDERDOME so there. I think Thunderdome is better than Mad Max 1.

I think its almost equally as good as Road Warrior.

Go Uncle, I still totally get into all your analytical posts about BTD so keep it up!

I quite enjoyed Thunderdome the first and only time I saw it.

I prefer the 'low budget' feel of the first two Mad Max films, and the fact that the first two films have the Black on Black!

Mad Max is my favourite out of all three films.

I agree with Dog.

Mad Max was a punk rock movie

for folks who love fast cars and bikes

RW was post apoc- western with more cool

cars and bikes. BTD reminds me of post apoc/western

Blade Runner. All are GREAT and yet different.

Now new Matrix movie- that looks like bunch of CGI poop!

What is Aussie slang for poop

I think you could use the Aussie term 'daggy' to describe The Matrix. Means the same thing as 'poopy', so I'm led to believe from watching 'Neighbours', etc in the 1980s...

I like good, honest, non-computerised effects in films! That's one of the reasons why the MM trilogy is so good Image

na 'Daggy' means, (actually it has a number of meanings, originally it was sh*t hangin out the back end of a sheep, all maggoty and blowflied, then in the late 80's primary school kids got hold of it, and daggy meant you were unfashionable, and what you were wearing was really embaressing and you were just plane dorky, then NICOLE KIDMAN f**ked it all up for us on LENO, and she chaged its meaning altogether, i think she termed it as just "silly", like "god your daggy, but your still cool"

So we hardly use it anymore.

Anyone not from TASSIE wanna throw theirs in, cause you know every state has their different sh*t.

I'm still on the road. Just a little bit busy in these days. That's all. I was here. I'm here. I will be here.

Just wondering when my precious N2 toy of MAX (from second series) will come in the comic book shop where I made the order.

Everything looks bright. Apart the fact some asshole dared to MAKE an useless and highly pathetic GOLDEN YOUTH toy model and *NOT* the THUNDERDOME characters ones... it's really beyond ME!

UNC, i'm dead sure, that when N2 were done with the ROAD WARRIOR FIGURES, they were gonna start on THUNDER.

One of the advantages of working in a store that sells figures and models, is you get the gossip on that sh*t, and i might be wrong, but i distincly remember reading somewhere, that they did have a diorama planned of THUNDERDOME itself, it was gonna be really big, you had to construct it yourself, and in it hanging from the bars with chords were MAX with chainsaw and BLASTER with the spiked club.

sh*t even i woulda gotten that, woulda been awesome... buggered if i could find the room for it though. And it wouldn't sit anywhere near my precious MAD MAX 2 WASTELAND SCENE Image
