Accept was the best german heavy metal band from the late 70' to the late 80'. Udo Dirkschneider started a solo career in 1989 with his band U.D.O and Animal House was his best album! Later in the 90', it was a short Accept comeback, with one album ...

BALLS TO THE WALL!
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

AC/DC is a biggie of mine too. Seen them in concert more than any other band. (Also the loudest by far.) Angus is starting to look really old now, but he can still do the chicken walk like it was 1979.

How 'bout old school Punk, not that new kiddie fashion stuff.

Fear, Minor Threat, Flipper, Social Distortion, TSOL, Wasted Youth, Circle Jerks, The Adolescents and Agent Orange

Old Brit stuff like the Buzzcocks, Sex Pistols, TRB, The Damned, GBH, Gen X, etc.

I mainly listen to classic New Wave, old school Punk, industrial, some older Goth, movie soundtracks, select classical, a lot of rockabilly, old and new swing, Bluegrass and prog/space rock. On a whole 'nother plane, I enjoy classic rock and metal, funk, some disco and early rap (pre gangsta).

mitch, i love punk, and not the pop/punk crap youre referring to, like new found glory and blink182 and (the worst of all) good charlotte. i hesitate to even call it punk, but they decide to call themselves that.

my favorites are rancid, operation ivy, the clash, stiff little fingers, misfits.

plus a lot of older rock, i even borrowed pete townshend's name from the who for my name. and the white stripes. if anyone else likes them, id like to know, especially if youre from outside the usa, it seems like theyre getting a lot of attention overseas from what i see.

For all you NZ fans, how are D4 and The Datsuns doing? I kinda liked their sound. Retro punk... We used to joke about slammin' to the oldies. Now it's here.
