Oh Jesus Christ... In the italian version he said "thanks" - pretty gay really? In "ROAD WARRIOR" he also said "thanks" to the Warrior Woman. The italian dubbers. What assholes !!!!!!!!!!!!

heh Uncle - in answer to your original questions;

the beach house that Max and Jessie lived in is not huge, its an average style you would find anywhere on the coast here in the Wastelands. The farm house with May and Benno is obviously larger, but definitely not out of reach of the average wage-earning 'bronze' (think of all the overtime they got chasing scags !!)

Nightrider stole the MFP car by killing a probationary 'bronze', as crazed psycopath nomad biker trash are prone to do from time to time. Big scary biker vs weedy prob. ?? The outcome was inevitable. It probably took old Nightie about 10 seconds from start to finish. Your theory that the bronze are junk, and only the outlaws 'valiant' and 'skilful' is fabulous, although ultimately flawed. The bronze survived, the outlaws did not. Mind you, they took a few with them......

ps Rock - we have referred to our local wallopers as 'the Bronze' since about April 1979

I presume its not your whole state that calls them BRONZE. is it just the dudes the bikers?

up north in ACT near where the fires raged in January, the whole place does look like a wastelands now, its a mess. Yeh, its just the bikers who call them that, but even some of them (the late starters/young pups) have no idea what a bronze is. Many years ago I lived in a group house with a kiwi, he reckoned back home the NZ coppers did wear bronze badges, and the locals all referred to them as " the Bronze". Oh no .........that could mean ..........and i know its ugly............there might have been kiwi's influencing MM!!!

My dad was a pom and ever sice i was a kid he always called the cops round my area THE BILL, even before the "oh seatbelts kids, there goes the ol' bill" It was obviously a pommy expression he baught over with him, then after a while evryone in my burb (BRIDGEWATER) were reffering to the coppers as 'the bill', i'm talking hardcore HQ driving aussies, saying "oh arms in the window kids, there goes the ol' bill"

yeh thats a common one with the poms, must be something to do with what comes in the mail after a fast spin around the block in the old Austin A5 ....... the poms do some amazing things with those little 4-bangers !!
