Hmm, not sure, but I think when Immortan Joe said it about Nux tripping he was clearly expressing a negative.

Mediocre as in disappointing , except for when Morsov commits suicide then it is used in a sarcastic way " Mediocre Morsov " , used in a way people who are closely bonded would do , they see Morsov die in the most epic way and decide to have a bit of fun was my impression , very Aussie

Ah, interesting. I thought it might be more of Miller continuing his custom of using words in ways that are perplexing and out-of-place.

After watching that scene again on YouTube it is Slit who first yells " Mediocre Morsov " , he seems to be jealous of the epic way Morsov dies , he also displays this jealousy when Nux says " He looked at me !! "

Slit is a jerk.

A jerk and a weenie - "I got his boot!"

... which is counter-intuitive since he *looks* badass, and has that fantastic "By my deeds I honour him, V8" first line.

The " I've got his boot " line reminded me of " I have his gourd " line from Monty Pythons Life of Brian lol maybe it was the desert setting

I thought Furiosa said "home, get them home" rather than stating Max didn't get them home... she must know they're not there yet, even if she's about to croak...

I think was genius writing along with "Witness me". You only have to browse reddit to see how the word has surpassed all meaning and become a pop-culture meme.
