It's that damned day job that interferes with hobby  Ok, I noticed that there is error with body shape in my kit, it can be seen in earlier pictures. Somehow I managed to make noticeable nothc on the rear fender, in real car line from the roof to rear is slightly arched:

So, I had to make new trunk lid and fix fender line. Actually new lid was easier to make than previous wrong one, so it didn't waste too much time:

Now all it needs is finishing sanding and trim for vinyl roof before primer (maybe I'll attach hood also before primer).

Thanks. Yeah, I'm mainly military modeller, this is my first car model in... Twenty and some years. I needed bit distraction as my tank models are currently on hold due the lack of motivation, and this project is perfect for that. No need for flawless shiny finish but dust and heavy weathering, still something different than what I usually do. If we take a moment for off topic, here's some of my latest armor kits.

First, Russian lend & lease Churchill:

My favorite bit here is exhaust:

Then some French armor, Tamiya Char b1 Bis:

Also German stuff, Tamiya Jagdtiger build straight from the box:

I love modelling, I just wish I had more time (and money and space and tools etc etc...). I also wish that we wouldn't have so much cat hair around

If I can recommend a good read, then Michael Rinaldi's TankArt books are must. I adopted tehcniques presented in those books and as result those three tanks are actually my best work so far. Nice work with that alternate reality stuff mate, I always wanted to try something like that.

Only few minor tweaks and it's time for a primer, finally.

Quick edit, primed 8-)

No, Modelhaus was down when I started this build but luckily I found another source.

No real progress this week, some minor tinkering and black primer. There was a long thin cat hair at this very side, managed to fish it off but still needs bit fixing. Although this doesn't have to be perfect show finish, there's just some things that are plain wrong LIKE THAT FECKING CAT HAIR  What it really means it that I have to spray final color somewhere else.
