Interesting theory. Furiosa says "get them home", no...? Meaning there's a job still to be finished. Also, she's not a War Boy. She has no interest in dying in glory. The whole point of the movie is she's had enough of Immortan Joe's set-up and wants a better life. That's a bit at odds with wanting death to be her redemption.

What sold me on Tom, was not the words but the PTSD scenes his reaction/shaking of head/wincing eyes.
Also the way he looked at Abbey Lee trying to cut the chain, as if to say "for fecks sake woman hurry up"

I rewatched the scene with the original audio (English).
I must say that it's a terrific scene, but the ending makes me emotional more than this.

What the hell is Max bumbling all the time while performing to Furiosa the blood transfusion? It's incoherent...

yeah, his potrayal of suffering from PTSD, his emotion and his eyes is just perfect. I'm gonna get flamed for saying this but whatever...

i'm starting to like Hardy's Max a little bit more than Gibson's Max. Gibson's Max was and will always be awesome but i think there's a nostalgic factor there. Hardy's Max was incredible, he did a great potrayal of a scavenger with some mental problems because of traumatic events.

i must say, the ending was surprisingly emotional for me, when Furiousa whispers "Home", it's like she is relieved she is able to get them home, even if she is dying, that one gets me.

Just one question:

When Furiosa was lying down the floor of the Gigahorse, what was that white "thing" below her head?

Hardy has about a 15-20 year acting career head start on Mel Gibson though, Gibson was very young in the first MM, and only 28? in TD

Tom Hardy's pain seems to be real from within, Gibson is more acted
