Mad Max 4 - The Game (September 1st 2015 PS4, XB1, PC)

Doesn't look very good IMO.

The highschool drama club dialogue sounds bad, Max doing Karate across the wasteland looks bad...

These could just be embarrassing promotional choices, but if the game looks like the footage and commercials so far then I dont have much faith in it.

It seems like studio's these days, games and films are great at imitating and shellacking all the surface details of classic properties while completely missing what made the original so effective.

Whats with the running animation?

Apparently its Gamescon footage that was shown behind closed doors.

Reading comments from some folks who were there, they say this off screen footage doesn't look as good as what they saw live. As for the running animation, it could still be work in progress.
