Good Morning everyone! First post here, and man am I glad to have found this board. Quick intro: I've been into costuming since I was about 14 when I started WWII Re-enacting and started work on my first sci-fi/movie costume when I was still in the Army back in 2008 with Boba Fett. After almost 5 years of research, painting, building, and upgrading, I can say I've finished my "Special Edition Boba", seen here with my wife: http://i.imgur.com/CeIZpZx.jpg .
I'm big into the details, and after meeting Jim Dorsey's incredible Lord Humungus and my pal Woody's Gayboy Berserker at Dragon-Con, both me and my wife decided "Yup, we're doing Mad Max net year", with me doing Max from Road Warrior and her with Warrior Woman. Now, as to why I'm posting:
I can't find ANYTHING on Virginia Hey's "Warrior Woman", no found items, no source for her gigantic 80's oatmeal-colored sweater...nothing. Either there's some well-buried forum/thread on the Internet that I'm missing our the two WW costumer's I've seen pics of just winged it based off of movie stills, either way I'm at a loss.
Before me and Samantha just say "Welp, looks like we're going to be looking at Blu-ray stills", I wanted to ask if anyone knew if there were documented reference material to help with her costume (type of sneakers she wears, the exact sweater, etc). The only thing we can gather is that she wears the Rawlings CP-66 pads, which is going to be REAL fun to find.
Samantha's pretty close to Virginia Hey's height, measuring in at 5'9" and we're really excited to start this project. She saw Road Warrior for the first time last weekend and was absolutely floored.
Thanks for reading everyone, and again, any help would be HIGHLY appreciated! Alright, back to finding the elusive "Rawlings Pads" and Aussie firemen's tools...

I have in fact seen those links, and they're a great start. I guess my intent was to see if there were any documented pages that had found actual makers/designers of her outfit like how Max has very specific parts that are confirmed (South Wales fire gear, Sam Browne Belt, trailer-hitch for upper braces, etc).
There was a pretty fantastic Warrior Woman costumer that I saw pictures of on here and I believe one of the Wasteland Weekends that had what looked like an IDENTICAL sweater. Either she got really, REALLY lucky at a flea market or there's an existing company that makes those that can be referenced.

Welcome! If you look at about 18 post down, our board host Karol had a pair of pads for sale. I don't know if they are still available though. Btw, I'm also a fellow Fett costumer and recently finished a MM2 costume so if you need any help PM me.
