Saw LAWLESS last weekend with friends and quite enjoyed it but I'm a sucker for gangster/period crime films anyway. Some solid performances by the cast including Guy Pearce, Tom Hardy and Jessica Chastain and while it's mostly a serious drama I was surprised by how funny (intentionally) it was and though there's little action in the film when it does crop up it's brutal.

I'd give it a 8/10.

Also watched The Expendables 2 the weekend prior to that with the same buddies and enjoyed the hell out of it. Tons of action, fun, funny and all your favourite 80s and 90s action heroes in one film! Yeah, and Chuck Norris even drops a "Chuck Norris Fact". 8/10.

Where did you see it? I've been waiting for this along time and then they cancel the wider US release. And I love Laibach...the perfect music for it.

@DetritusMaximus

Maybe you should have a look here.
Or go to there main site.

I wanted to see this movie to but the screening was to far away. Only a few cinema's in the whole Netherlands which screened it.
So, I'll just have to wait to receive the special blu-ray edition with the support pack I bought from there shop. (Not available any more as I can see).

"UNDERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" is how far you take the fence with you.

I was hoping the US release would be larger than it appears to be. We have family in Finland so we could get the dvd/BR, but it would be in Region 2 coding...boogers. The games look interesting.

Detritus, two eight foot robots? You're a true fan, and you have my admiration. I guess you could take it as a compliment that they wanted to steal your work :) .

The chain in those handcuffs is high-tensile steel, it'll take you ten minutes to hack through it with this, now if your lucky ? you can hack through your ankle in five minutes. Go !
