BW's were shit tranny's the auto's anyway,thats why AMC/Rambler switched to Mopar T flites in 1972.(I've a 904 in my 74 AMC Gremlin) and I was gonna ask,did they really use a 727 behind the Hemi 6's as they used the 904 and 998's behind the leaning tower of power U.S slant 6's and I figured the 727 was slated for more of the 318,340 and 360 V8's Oz Chargers?

Nothing really,its just a trans that was slated for the trucks and heavier duty V8's. the 904's were usually put behind passenger car slant 6's and I'm sure Hemi 6's as well.

The Slant 6 Flite had a unique case with the starter at approximately 2 o'clock. I've seen 727's (the Torqueflite A-727, small-block V-8's) behind Slants, but they were the small-block bolt pattern case with a bolt-on adapter and crank spacer. i coulda sworn my old charger had a 265 and 727 combo. i remember removing the 727 badges from the C pillar. No such thing as a 727 badge, you might be thinking of a 770, which was a trim model (and did use a small badge as such)

Took the charger down to Calder to try the new webers and power slid..into a tree.
No serious damage, just cosmetic.
I have a new sill but no left hand door. Have checked Ebay with no luck. Anyone have a Valiant Charger left hand side door?
