goddamn you have way more patience and vision than I do.

I'm working on those parts.

very nice formulation and in-progress pics.

the paint on these is the killer tough part. I've never seen one done well by an amateur so I will watch yours with anticipation. most blotch the thin lines of white and red, hard to tape off finely on such small models.

thanks, it has been a very challenging process, it have been building for over 30 years, but getting into the small scale stuff like this, i have had to re-invente myself a bit, and creat some new processes and tricks to build this stuff. The worst part is the metal is soft, but it does not bend, it breaks, using ceetain rotoary bits can cuase it to smear when hot, and solidify again when it cools, so instead of removing material, it edned up just moving it.

anyway, i am looking forward to beuing able to try out my airbrush on the 4 color paint job, more updates soon i hope.

i agree about the metal. I use very low speeds and enormous patience when drilling and grinding hw and mb cars. often i will use hand power only to cut through the metal. a small coping saw and a new blade. hand filing with needle files often works better than dremeling. i guess it depends on how good your eyes are and how steady your hands are. i make mistakes all the time and have to throw away a casting and start again. especially when removing metal. you cant put it back! (well you can... but you know what i mean...)

exactly, using handpwoer is more efficient , using power tools seems to creat more work in the end.i hav found standard bondo can help fill back in lost metal, but the adhesion is not the greatest, metling solder works also, but the sodler can also fall out after you have worked it a bit.

here are a few long over due uopdated pics that i had promised, alomst done owth the biody, got the light bar and siren done, need to finish creating the tail lights, uopdated the interior to more of a 4 door sedan set up, moving front seats forward as well. had to strip the body back to metal last night, as the sealer i used over the primer had a chemical reaction, and it started to bubble up and peel away like rubber cement, weird. So i got it sitting in a bolw of minerla sprtis. paint thinner, clean it up, re shoot with primer, and have to re-attach the door handles and drip rails on both sides, as the had to come off in oder to strip the body back down correctyl, small set back, but will work out in the end, i think i nm goinmg to cast this as a 1/64 model kit, and offer then up for sale, hope fully next updated pisc will be of the resin casted boides.

Outstanding! Simply impressive. It's gonna be glorious in paint. So is this one for your private collection?
