Max's Yellow 4 door Interceptor in 1/64
A work in progress, my first attempt at the Yellow 4-door Interceptor.
Soprry, the pic came out a tad blurry, but you get the idea

Cool! Nice work! I am in the process of doing this right now as well! I cut and filed down the back window to make a door, and will probably mould the rear end in green stuff to get the more rounded shape. I want to make the Pursuit and Interceptor cars.

Truly excellent work on the 4 door conversion. I didn't realize the coupe and sedan had the same wheelbase. Once again I am inspired, and I really don't need 3 purple Falcons anyway....

next step is to create the fender flares, i got the fornt lower spolier done alreay, the work on the interior a bit, fabricate interior windows, paint will be the biggest chore, glad i got my airbrush out of storage, i will need it.

OK, curiosity got the better of me and i had a look at hot wheels xb.... its a big task - especially getting the rear right. the coupe and sedan rears are very very different.
have you thought of making a cut above the rear window and across to the wheel arches and grafting another 1:64 rear on. I'd have to go through a whole lot of 1:64 sedans but im sure theres a better option. Of course - this may be MORE work than the route you are taking. In this scale it might be easier to do it this way to get the rear taillights and boot curves accurate.

yeah, the rears are completly different between the coupes and sedans, now with that in mind, i still used the coupe as a base for the sedan, as it still had more similarites in my mind, plus, there is no 1/64 4 door falcon in that era, there are some 70 or 71 models, but the body lines are not right.
here are some shots of the fender flares being roughed in, along with a shot of the sedan rear end in the works, i can tell you now, that this one is a rather large task to pull off, hopefully, if i do not get in a hurry, it will be a nice represenation in 1/64 scale.
