Friend In My Dorm

The dorm I'm staying in where I go to school houses a lot of exchange students, one of which I have become friends with, and she is from none other than Australia. She has never seen "Mad Max" or any of the classic Oz-ploitation films, but I hope to show her "Mad Max" before she goes home at the end of the term. The first night we met, after telling her I was big fan of Aussie cinema, she asked me to name a bunch of Aussie actors, which I did. Other than the people like Mel Gibson and Nicole Kidman, she had not heard of any of the people I mentioned. I actually found that very ammusing. Just thought I would share with you all.
