i finally found an axe on ebay and i love to share with you i got the resin spanner from carrol and mad a leather pouch i will post some pictures after i have recieved the axe
only thing i need is some tail hinges and a knee pad
maybe some one can help me out.
You should be able to find the tailgate hinges online.
As for the knee pad, I can't help you right now, but if you look at my knee pad tutorial maybe you could try making one yourself. Or find a leather craftsman who could make it for you. http://www.madmaxcostumes.com/tutorials/maxkneepad.htm

i finally got my axe and pouch i have made my self an dummy handle with a more accurate look,it is also much lighter as the original piece in the movie you can see the handle is sometimes in an angle and with the axe blade attached this is not possible i think in the movie he wears a dummy also.
i burned the bottom of the wooden handle to achieve the right black look in the bottom of the handle.
any way here it is.
