http://www.mikefury.net/files/a-warrior ... e-fury.pdfQ. Your next big project is Mad Max: Fury Road. Could you tell me about this?
A. We were meant to be filming right now but they postponed it for a January 2012 start. I'm really looking
forward to this because I'm playing a number of roles, including the main henchman to the bad guy
played by Hugh Keays-Byrne who was in the original Mad Max over 30 years ago. I'm so thrilled for the
opportunity to be part of such an iconic aussie franchise and have such a good role. A few months ago
we did rehearsals with cars and trucks in the Australian Outback. Too much fun for one person!
[Laughs] Brit Tom Hardy will play the lead as the Max character and he says he can't wait to train in
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu everyday on-set so that should be a hoot! This is definitely the most exciting thing I've
got coming up and as I say we'll be shooting from January 2012.
Keays-Byrne is the bad guy; Richard Norton his main henchman
Keays-Byrne is the bad guy; Richard Norton his main henchman
This comes from an interview with actor, stuntman and fight coordinator Richard Norton. Like the other films, there will no doubt be several villains, but I now suspect Keays-Byrne plays the main antagonist.

It is interesting that such a prominent actor would be re-used in such a prominent role as a different character in a new film. I just hope he's sufficiently different or disguised, so it doesn't end up quite like the glaring re-use of Bruce Spence in Thunderdome, which has always caused confusion.

Signature Miller move right there. I know they will be playing different characters but wouldn't it be awesome if they made a connection between Toecutter and Wez?
Again, this is pure fan fiction, but:
What if Toecutter had Wez in his gang all along. After Toecutters death, Wez is out in the wastelands and finds Max by accident (according to RW original script) Fury road could be a backstory to Road Warrior. Wait... isn't that what Fury Road was ment to be in the first place?

Re: Keays-Byrne is the bad guy; Richard Norton his main henc
Hugh Keays-Byrne is actually just the performance capture template for an entirely CG character.
Re: Keays-Byrne is the bad guy; Richard Norton his main henc
Keays-Byrne's role as J'onn J'onzz (Martian Manhunter) in Miller's aborted Justice League film was rumored to be a motion captured/CG character, so I suppose there is that possibility.
Re: Keays-Byrne is the bad guy; Richard Norton his main henc
i think the fact hes including him still shows he does value the fans and omfg if vern wells was to join that would be epic but richard norton on his own is a crackin choice now to just get a cameo at the end from gibson and goose somehow lol ahhhhh would bring a tear lol
