Selling my original Mad Max vintage Australian Rossi boots

Post by Max Replica »

Well, I've decided to put my Mad Max boots on eBay. This is a great vintage pair of the exact same type of boots he wore in the first two movies.
Hopefully they'll go to another hardcore fan or costumer.

If they weren't two sizes too big for me I'd never be selling them. Hopefully someday I'll find another pair like this, and in my size, but I've been searching for years.

That was quick. Did you underprice them? :)

No, I think the price was fair. I think someone was just happy to finally find a pair in their size. Just like I would be.

The money gods are not smiling on me. I'm reluctantly considering selling mine, too. They're really too small anyway. :(

How small? I'm not about to turn around and buy yours am I?
(Somehow I doubt it, I don't think our feet could be anywhere near the same size).

You could always go the Russian boot route and live with a modified pair that's ALMOST accurate.

I seem to recall your having smaller feet than I have. I wear a 13 and these are just slightly snug without socks. The major issue is the top three inches where it's really tight on my calves. If I continue my aggressive campaign of not exercising, maybe someday my calves will atrophy enough to fit the boots.

Maybe I'll hold onto them for a few more years until they're really, really rare...

I'd still like to get some Russians for more accuracy than my engineer boots.
