Re: Question for BoB owners
Yes and for the close up of body stripe id try to get a good pic of the side of the car at the very start of the toecutter chase as even on DVD/large flatscreen tv, you can see the pinstrip go up over the front fenderwell as hilighted when a white center stripe goes by in the reflection of the paint from the highway. Can anybody get a good pic of that?
Re: Question for BoB owners
On the BoB and unlike the original GT black outs, the stripe appears to bent and go across the front of the bonnet.
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed
XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.
But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!

Re: Question for BoB owners
I wanted a BOB but no way could I afford one. I still desperately wanted a Mad Max vehicle, so I built my Humungus Machine.
I'm going to second what gasoline wrote: "At car shows, nearly every other car there has had far more work and effort paid to its restoration, costs more, is worth more and is therefore due more attention. Yet, they all get drawn to the Interceptor." Or in this case, The Humungus Machine.
When I drive it or display it, people either recognize it and love it (complete with movie quotes and "I just saw that on TV!") or they have no idea what it is and they hate it.
Either way, I will always be glad I built it while I'm still (somewhat) young. I've been loving it ever since.

The humangus machine is very cool ! Hasent everthing been covered on here about ten times over? Its like a magazine subscriction for RC cars or model railroading after about two years they start to repeat themselves, but its still fun to read and hear a few little updates aswell!
Re: Question for BoB owners
Yeah I know..... just being a smart ass. Actually it's been posted several times over the last couple of years as the number of replicas have greatly increasedthe_roadwarrior wrote:.MAD MAX. wrote:Didn't I cover this about 8 years ago ??

Re: Question for BoB owners
I say screw it, let old topics get brought up again. New forum members want to offer up their ideas and questions, too! Besides, we've already discussed just about everything possible. If we just go using the Search function all the time instead of re-hashing favorite topics, we will eventually just have a dead forum.
