Vintage Rossiter's boots on eBay.com.au - with a twist!

Post by MFP 2020 »

These are gorgeous. And in an interesting twist, they lace up the back.

Too small for me, but a man of your foot size...

I plan to bid on these. They're maybe a tiny bit too big for me, but if the price stays reasonable it's worth a shot.
Good looking out for the rest of us now that you already have your pair Madmaximages!

The lacing up the back is inaccurate obviously, but maybe I could have that fixed without it being too obvious.

If you're bidding, I'll stay out of it. They're too small, obviously, but I'd love to have them just to have them, y'know? The lacing would be great for my monster calves.

I asked the seller whether the lacing was factory original, but he didn't know. Good luck!

It seems a lot of fans have problems with the boots being too tight at the calves. Maybe that's why Rossi decided to offer this laced version.
Even Max had to put laces in his boot just to fit in a little knife sheath.

This pair is a great collector's item - they are in great condition. They even have all 4 straps.

I think it's also possible that the laces were done after market by the owner. Somebody with big calf problems.
I guess I may get a chance to investigate if I win the auction.

I'm going to keep bidding on these, even though the price is going up.
If anyone else from this board is bidding or plans to bid on these, why not get in touch with me ASAP so that maybe we can work something out? Another person here did that with me when the last pair of these came up and it worked out really well. He got them and got them much cheaper than if we had just kept pushing each other's bids higher.

EDIT - Well, I'm out of the bidding. Too rich for my blood. Congrats to whoever ends up with them. Auction ain't over yet and the price is rising...

I talked to Bad Cop at WW this weekend (evidently my pals Gene and Amy had made friends with him last year) and he won these boots. FWIW.

Yep, I got 'em - I felt a little bad going for them at the time, but at least they're in good hands - And they are in almost new condition, so they were worth the money. I almost can't imagine wearing them they're so new. So I'll keep showing up with my Motor Cowboy MFP boots I have (which I've had no worries about getting all beat up and dustified at the events, i.e. I consider them expendable). It was awesome seeing you guys at the Event, tell Amy and Gene I say "hi" and thank you (!) for letting me rest my tired dogs in the camper for that awesome hour on Saturday afternoon! :)
