The fate of David Slingsby

Post by muppy »

You know, the "we'll never walk away never!" guy. He was headbutted by Wez. Later he shows up in the infirmary with this huge dent in his forehead and staring blankly at Max. Is he dead in that scene? I can't figure if he's alive or dead.

Anyway hi I'm muppy. Been reading the forums for 8 years but never joined. The announcement of yet another MM4 delay angered me enough to finally join so here I am. Hopefully we can all one day enjoy a 4th flick.

For me the character played by David Slingsby definately died with the headbutt done by Wez. Later in the movie you actually see that he died like numerous other people from the compound did this day.
I could probably make it on my own, but I like you kids.

Yep, he's dead. You can actually see the dent in his forehead.

if the killer head-butt didn't kill him, the impact from being tossed off the scaffolding probably finished the job.

'Whats my motivation for this scene?"

"you die"
'Perhaps its a result of an anxiety'

I never thought he was dead. Max kind of gives a little smile to him when they're in the infirmary.
And isn't an infirmary for sick or wounded people, not dead people?

I just figured he was a vegetable after the hit, brain dead.

Presumably they would have left him to be blown up with the compound since there would be no point to taking him with them.

I thought the unblinking, blank stare along with the crushed-in skull was a dead giveaway that he was dead. (pun intended)
