Oh wow hey thats amazing!!!
I never noticed the flares on the left side of the car were still on nicely during the chase....
(apart from the garage sence where the car is in pristine condition)

I think we see part of the front left flare attached in one of the head on shots during the chase?

Why wouldnt it be?

Though technically speaking the height of the bonnent scoop would be outside the maximum height requirements.
Otherwise there is nothing else modified on that car that would be too detrimental to getting a roadworthy.

The yellow replicas on the road are all technically illegal in all states of Australia as they all have blue (and red) lights fitted.
Even with the lights not connected it wont matter. However covering them up makes it legal as they are not "displayed".
Same with a siren.

You sure?
Have seen (heard) a few cars around town with a mini spool (mostly registered rally cars) fitted, always notice when they on concrete going round a corner!

In any case the boys in blue wont know because you cant see it!

Is the bonnet scoop two pieces? You can remove the top half and then not worry about that if you get pulled over.

A spool is not permitted on a street car there? I still can't get over the scoop and tire size restrictions.

Mini spools or full spools are not road legal in Vic. You can get a really tight lsd that will chatter the same in tight turns, which is what my statesman use to do.
