The 6.5 litre supercharged V8 he bought was, in fact, it was the back-up car which was officially written off. The original is in a museum in Australia. It had been laid up in a Perth junkyard rusting away in 2006.
Dominic made son Jay's dream come true and had the vehicle re-built and brought to the Isle of Man.
It's genuine, still has the 6.5 in it.......

Ha ha, dreamers
LTDHO = Supercharged Intercooled 5.7L 360rwkw, 6 speed

XB Coupe = Stock Fairmont GS with 351 and 4 speed.

But I really want a 600rwhp XB coupe!

Just galls me that the car's owner is trying to bilk people like that. OR He himself was bilked and doesn't actually KNOW #17 is just a replica. (The reasonable must acknowledge this as a possibility)
Actually no, he himself imported the car into the country as bare coupe.
If you look in the fan cars sections you'll see pictures of what it looked like when imported to the USA.

As for the blower, if indeed it does work, then its a scarey thing.
Simply because the car hasnt been improved on.
The radiator is still a 2core.
The rear diff (appears to be drum brakes) is still the standard 8in, with 3 leaf springs!
The engine bay looks a mess of wires.

Seems the website which posted the "restored" replica in the Isle of Man isnt taking any emails??
Mine got rejected...

Ahh.
Forgot about that.

Still, I'd buy it for a reasonable price.
Wow.. That sign says $55,000???

$5,500 maybe, if it's not full of mud and runs/drives good.
