I've been planning a pilgrimage to the Mad Max Mecca for a few years now, but never made it. This sounds like a good excuse and I'm dying to see a replica V8 Pursuit Special for the first time.
I know I am totally unknown to you guys, but just letting you know you can add +1 to your list. My gf would probably come too.

A whole week of madness sounds amazing, but I'm just starting a new job and already have a holiday booked in November. So I may have no leave available at the time. I'll try and at least get 3 days off or something.

Sounds like a great event. I will be coming from Darwin with my BOB. Dont know yet if I will drive it all the way or transport it to Adelaide and join the convoy there??? Anyway cant wait for the fun to begin. Rod

Good map posting. Great idea as it lets people visualise what route people will be taking.

Also, here are some pics of the caravan park. I was expecting the caravan park to be time out from the mad max world we will be plunged into during the week but it looks like my expectations were incorrect. Penrose Park looks just as 'mad max' as the rest of the landscape.

"Come on an' join our convoy, ain't nothin' gonna git in our way" (except kangaroo's, wallabies, dingoes, horses, camels, emu's, rabbits, wombats, locusts and other assorted 100 km/h bugs ... and the Bronze!?).
